She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Allen Thomason Sr. and Virginia Snow Thomason; her brothers, Robert Allen Thomason Jr. and William Lamar Thomason; and her husband Edward Evans Carroll.

She is survived by: her children, William Allen Carroll (Kathy) and Marian Carroll Hart (Hal); her grandchildren, Alan Jeffery Hart, Meredith Hart Sleeper (Adam) and Brian Michael Carroll (Carrie); her great grandchildren, Liam Carroll and Sadie Carroll; and her sister-in-law Chaney Carroll. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
