It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Joyce Callier (Birmingham, Alabama), who passed away on February 1, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Tina Godfrey Callier-Elmore and Thurston Callier, Sr.; her husband Monroe Colvin; her brother Rev. Thurston Callier, Jr.; and her nephew Thurston Callier, III.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Linda Stamps Grace and Billy Shelborne; her great-niece Martha McDowell; her great-nephew Bryan Patrick Callier; and her sister-in-law Bennie Ruth Callier-Sweeney. She is also survived by five Nieces and a Nephew and five Great Nieces, four Great Nephews, and two Great-grand Nieces.
