We are sad to announce that on July 22, 2024, at the age of 48, Mary -Bestor Bankhead Grant (Birmingham, Alabama) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Mary leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Mary may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

She is survived by: her parents, Jane Campbell Brown Grant and William Alexander "Alec" Grant III; her aunt BeeBee; her siblings, William Alexander Grant IV and Virginia Grant Blair; her brother-in-law Michael Scott Blair; her niece Anne Bestor Bankhead Blair; and her nephews, Pratt Copeland Blair of South Glastonbury, Connecticut and Michael Darby Blair of South Glastonbury, Connecticut. She is also survived by her loving aunts and uncles, and eleven first cousins.

The family requests that memorials be given to: The Society of St. Vincent de Paul, 2 Xavier Circle.
