She is survived by: her brothers, Jimmy Gilmer and Keith Gilmer (Pam); her children, David Russell (Kim) of Colbert and Debra Holmes (Donald) of Eva, Alabama.; her grandchildren, Sam Gill of Colorado, Sydney Saucier (David) of Starkville, Luke Holmes of Cullman, Jonathan Russell (Julie) of Colbert, Georgia., Ben Russell (Hannah) of Colbert, Georgia., Joseph Russell (Mary Grace) of Colbert, Georgia., Caroline Russell of Colbert, Georgia. and Thomas Russell of Colbert, Georgia.; and her great grandchildren, Nathan, Jason Russell, Judah and Mae Saucier. She is also survived by children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Bernstein Funeral Home Chapel (3195 Atlanta Hwy, Athens, GA 30606). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wesley Jubilee Sunday School class at St. Andrew's Global Methodist Church, 615 Main Ave., SW, Cullman, AL 35055.
