She is survived by: her close friends, Ken and Kay Jones; her friend Jeannine Mayo; her grandchildren, Jacqueline Maddox (Wes) and Grant Stokes (Kaleigh); her great grandchildren, Elon W. Maddox IV of Birmingham, Alabama., Laurel of Birmingham, Alabama., Locklyn of Birmingham, Alabama. and Lawson Stokes of Birmingham, Alabama.; and her son-in-law Leonard C. Skelton, Jr..
