She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas B. Cooks; and her parents, Mary E. Baker and James Campbell (Eumas). She is survived by: her daughters, Dana Love (James), Avis C. Harris and Bernita R. Campbell (Sharrod); her sisters, Barbara Evans and Carol McGraw (Hubert); and her grandchildren, Christopher Love, Kristen Love, Xavier Campbell and Brandon Campbell. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trussville Chapel (1500 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Elmwood Cemetery (600 Martin Luther King Jr Dr, Birmingham, AL 35211).
