It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin Louis Johnson Jr. (Birmingham, Alabama), born in Hartselle, Alabama, who passed away on December 5, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Louis Johnson, Sr. and Sarah Charles Johnson; and his grandmother Vera Gibson. He is survived by: his wife Donna W. Johnson; his children, Roger Orr, DaMarcus (Klaressa) of Washington and Tanesha Carter (William); his sister Cynthia Johnson; his children, Dowanna Kelley, Leonard Willis, Darnelle of Washington and Wilisha of Washington; his siblings-in-law, John Levins (Zandra), Eddie Portis (Sherry), Donald Monroe, Willie Willis, Jr., Wanda Monroe and Alberta Felder; his nieces and nephews, Tanisha, Shanice, Tiara Johnson, Damaris Hampton (Kevin), Jhaneka Levins, Cedric Cleveland and Dominique Matthews (Genita); and his friends, Randy Love, Horace Hoult, Billy Don Bymun and Carl Martin. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
