She was predeceased by: her parents, Herb Schaier and Edna Schaier; her sister Marlene Gibbs; and her granddaughter Amy Elizabeth Bolan. She is survived by: her husband Taylor Thorington; her children, John Thorington (Sherri) and Laura Bolan (Tommy); and her grandchildren, Jeffrey Bolan, Greg Bolan, Bradley Bolan, Emily Thorington and Kate Thorington.
