She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward W. Harris and Estin Mozelle Jones Harris; and her siblings, Doug Harris, Allen Harris and Vivian McClendon.
She is survived by: her husband Charles R. Nichols, Sr.; her children, Charles Nichols, Jr. (Toni), Nancy Sprouse (Billy) and Doyal Nichols (Thelma); and her sister Darlene Megginson (Bob). She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home (1591 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
