Marion Loris Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marion Loris of Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on March 8, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Shutika and Anna Shutika; her husband William Loris; her siblings, Joseph Shutika, Edward Shutika and Agnes Cantolina; and her siblings-in-law, Barbara Phelps and Edward Porta.

She is survived by: her children, Nicholas Loris of Finleyville, PA, Darlene McGregor (Mike) of McDonough, GA, Elaine McGowan (Steve) of Springville, AL, Diane Yackee (Bobby) of Odenville, AL and Jennifer Benfield (Kelly) of Rock Hill, SC; her grandchildren, Joey McGregor (Jennifer), Adam McGregor, Austin Blanton, Haley Loris, Michael McGregor (Talia), Justin Loris, Matthew McGregor, Alex Loris, Ryan Yackee, Evan Darden, Ethan Darden and Brianna Benfield; her great grandchild Penelope James McGregor; her stepgrandchildren, Justin Yackee (Amber), Joshua Yackee (Ashley), Stephen McGowan, Megan Benfield, Bratton Benfield (Amber) and Madison Benfield; her siblings, Helen Porta of McKees Rocks, PA, John Shutika (Marcie) of McKees Rocks, PA and David Shutika (Marian) of Coraopolis, PA; and her siblings-in-law, Peg Newman of Woodriver, IL and William Cantolina of Gibsonia, PA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
