With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie A. DiBenedetto (Birmingham, Alabama), born in Ensley, Alabama, who passed away on November 27, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Pizzitola and Theresa Pizzitola; and her spouse Baldo DiBenedetto. She is survived by: her children, Rose Marie Butler (Terry) of Longwood, Florida, Jack DiBenedetto (Melinda) of Vestavia, Alabama, Joe DiBenedetto of Birmingham, Alabama and Terese Bass (Craig) of Springville, Alabama.; her brother Vincent; and her sister-in-law Mary Jo Pizzitola. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations made to St. Peter the Apostle Church Building Fund at 2061 Patton Chapel Road, Hoover 35216.
