With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mariann Worthington of Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on December 18, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Lewis Moorer and Mary Tatum Moorer; her husband Thomas Worthington; and her brother Tate Moorer. She is survived by: her daughters, Suzanne Walters (Kevin), Elizabeth Nichols (Jack) and Lucie Gory (Bruce); her grandchildren, Thomas Webster Walters, Adam Randolph Alsup, Clayton Worthington Walters, George Isaac Smith and Madeline Smith Huerkamp; her great grandchildren, Hazel Smith, Zeke Smith and Maddux Alsup; and her siblings, Emmett Lewis Moorer Jr. and Emily Moorer Suggs.
