She was predeceased by: her husband John E. Chappell, Jr.; and her sister Jeanne Scott. She is survived by: her children, Jane Vining and Lawrence E. Chappell (Janet); and her grandchildren, Destry Vining (Cristie) and Lisa Smith (Brad). She is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a cousin.
