It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret Silliman White (Birmingham, Alabama), who passed away on October 6, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bill White; her brother Earl Silliman; and her cousin Mary Claire Brouilette. She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Britton (Jeff Hansen) of Mountain Brook and Meg Childress (Tony) of Birmingham; her grandchildren, Richard (Brynna Benefield) of Shazo, Jamie Duke (Mave) of Shelby County and Sarah Hansen of Washington, D. C.; her great grandchildren, Emma Grace Duke, Zosia of Shazo and Arthur of Shazo; and her cousin Judy Burke. She is also survived by nephew and two nieces.
After the funeral, 98-year-old Margaret found herself sickened by breakthrough COVID-19, and despite a hospital stay and skilled nursing, Margaret entered hospice care in her independent-living apartment at Brookdale University Park.
