She was predeceased by: her parents, William Johns and Flora Johns; her husband Robert W. Steading; and her son Robert F. Steading. She is survived by: her son Paul W. Steading (Connie); her grandchildren, Adrienne Steading Kilgo (Matthew), Nicole Steading Lasseter, Kyle Steading (Morgan) and Jonathan Bryant (Amanda); and her great grandchildren, Ella Lasseter, Madeline Kilgo, Rebecca and Jacob Bryant.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the UAB Palliative Care Unit.
