Lynn Ann (Sagraves) Wiram Obituary

Our precious mother, Lynn Ann Wiram, was called home on March 29, 2023, after extensive complications from pneumonia. She gained her heavenly wings at 78 years old. Lynn was the loving mother of 3 children and their spouses: Lori (Young) Taylor and Mark Taylor, Leslie (Gwin) Eaton and Gary Eaton, Matthew Wiram and Amy Wiram. Lynn was the most caring grandmother to her 8 grandchildren: Hunter Gwin. Krista Gwin McIntyre, Cassady Gwin Hays, Michael Young, James Young, Amber-Lynn Wiram, Natalie Wiram, and Asher Wiram.
Lynn grew up in Terre Haute, Indiana. She was the daughter of Leonard and Elizabeth Sagraves. She had 4 siblings: Larry Sagraves, Ethel Lynch, Beth Sagraves, and Zan Sagraves. Lynn graduated from Gerstmeyer Technical High School. It was here that Lynn met her husband, Dick. Lynn was married to Richard “Dick” Wiram for over 20 years. Upon their divorce, Lynn never remarried.
Lynn worked in various jobs: as a photographer at Olan Mills and later retired in medical claims administration from ENT associates of Alabama. In her free time, Lynn loved to attend church and play cards. She was a long-time member of New Heights Christian Church but had recently joined First Baptist Church of Trussville. She was also a member of a Bridge Club at her local community center.
On a personal note: Lynn was famous for her pancakes and homemade syrup. If you were ever lucky enough to enjoy Lynn’s rich, buttery pancakes covered in her delicious, hot, sweet, and sticky syrup- you were truly blessed! You were blessed not only from the taste, but mostly from Lynn’s presence. Lynn filled any room she was in with LOVE and LIGHT.
We will miss Lynn dearly, but we know without a shadow of a doubt that we will see her again.
Lynn is waiting for all of us in her Heavenly Home, holding a scrumptious plate of golden pancakes in one hand and reaching out with her other arm to embrace us and welcome us “home”.
