He was predeceased by: his parents, Omer Lee and Mavie Alice Embry Tilford; his wife Frances; and his children, Doug and Laurie Merk.
He is survived by: his daughter Rhonda Bridges (Tim) of Lanesville; his brother Daniel Tilford of Birmingham, AL; his grandchildren, Evan Bridges (Jennifer), Ethan Bridges, Ian Bridges (Emma), Jacob Merk (Mary Kate) and Hannah Loran (Sean); and his great grandchildren, Josephine and Cooper Bridges. He is also survived by many Nieces and Nephews.
