It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon W. Edwards of Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on January 16, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sterling Edwards and Elizabeth Wyman Edwards of Alabama; his son Sterling William Edwards; and his siblings, William Sterling Edwards and Edwards Williams of Alabama.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Ann Neighbors; his children, Leon W. Edwards Jr. (Jenny) and Caroline Edwards Anderson; his grandchildren, Baylee Edwards, Sterling Edwards Jr., Ellen Coleman Edwards, Lee Edwards III, CeCe Sims, Catherine Sims and Libby Sims; and his sister Elizabeth Edwards Pless.
