He was predeceased by: his parents, Gussie Porterfield and Harrison Porterfield. He is survived by: his wife Jean Ryce Porterfield; his sons, Jeffrey (Barbara), Jerald, Jerome, Jay Harrison, Chad M., Joshua and Jeremy C. Reynolds; his granddaughter Jaylen; his siblings-in-law, Elizabeth Bell (James) and Maurice Ryce; and his cousins, Plummie Crenshaw and Gwendolyn Walls. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
