He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Gene Parks and Jane Rutledge Parks Kerr; and his grandparents, S. D. Parks, Marie Champion Parks, Grady Rutledge and Clara Carter Rutledge.
He is survived by: his sister Jeanne Reid (Johnny); his nieces, Kristin Marcrum, Brooke Madison (Adam) and Ashley Dabbs (Wesley); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Evan Marcrum, Cayman Brown, Cooper-Beckett Madison, Mason Dabbs and Paisley Dabbs.
