He was predeceased by: his father Hubert W. Franklin; and his wife Joy C. Franklin. He is survived by: his sons, Wayne Franklin and Taylor Franklin; his mother Fay T. Franklin; his siblings, Mike Franklin and Jackie Fell; and his grandchildren, Michael Franklin, Rebecca Franklin, Braiden Franklin and Joshua Franklin.
