She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Cassen and Margaret Cumming Cassen. She is survived by: her husband Richard Palmer Sexton, Jr.; her sons, Richard Palmer Sexton, III (Christine) of Birmingham and David Ratliff Sexton (Katy) of Birmingham; and her brother Quentin Cassen (Jan) of Orange, California. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
