With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Katherine Dorsett Raughley in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on February 9, 2023 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Martha Reynolds Dorsett. She is survived by: her father John Edward Dorsett; her husband Eugene Erwin Raughley, Jr.; her children, Eugene Erwin Raughley III (Whitney), Caroline Raughley Luscher (Hayes) and Hayden Raughley Barnett (Drew); her grandchildren, Eugene Erwin Raughley IV, Dowling Raughley, Katherine Raughley, Hayes Luscher, Jr., Raughley Barnett and Vivian Barnett; and her brother John Edward Dorsett, Jr. (Beth). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to UAB Gift Records, AB 1230, Department of Neurosurgery/ Brain Tumor Research, 1720 2nd Ave. South, Birmingham, AL 35294-0112.
