She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Hoyt Prater and Fannie Ruth Prater; and her former husband Thomas Bradley Fulkerson Jr.. She is survived by: her husband A. Michael Quarles; her sister Lucy Allison (Dan); her son Thomas Bradley Fulkerson III (Susan); and her grandchildren, Kaitlin Fulkerson Holman (Jim), Thomas Bradley Fulkerson IV (Christy), William Fulkerson (MaryKatherine) and Samuel Fulkerson (Stormy). She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
