She was predeceased by: her parents, Thelma Self McCarter and Harold McCarter. She is survived by: her husband Jim Scott; her daughters, Penny Long Marler (Kirk Hadaway), Pam (Greg Steele) and Becky (David Zimmerman); and her grandchildren, Dawson, Ashley Zimmerman, Carter, Alison Zimmerman, Walker, Sally Zimmerman, Grady Steele, Lindy and Michael Prevatt. She is also survived by friends and extended family.
