She was predeceased by: her brother Dewey Smith; her husband Byrd Orum, Jr.; and her sister Ramona Granger (Ollie Jr.). She is survived by: her children, Bertram Kevin Orum (Janice) of Trussville, AL and Laurette Mona Hall (Ronald) of Huntersville, NC.; her grandchildren, Brandon Orum, Lauren Robinson, Jordan Hall, Karleah Hall, Reginald Hall (Lauren), Melvin Carver Jr., Abrianna Carver and Darius Stribling; her great-nephew Allen (Angel); her mother-in-law Dorothy Orum; her siblings-in-law, Frank Orum (Rachel), Geno Orum (Angie), Theresa Lane (Craig) and Tywonia Orum; and also Alec Grant.
