He is survived by: his son Michael Ray; his daughter-in-law Cynthia Croom; his grandchildren, Dr. Rollin Jackson (Akesha), Renita Croom, Dr. Randall Croom (Kim), Brandon Croom (Alana), Dr. Lori Croom-Bush (Brenton), Elliot Croom (Shannon), Christine Croom, Christopher Croom Mt (Jenny) and Alexandria Croom; his daughter-in-law Gloria Croom; his sister Lucy V. Boyd (James); his sister-in-law Pearlie M. Croom; his niece Mary W. Wilson; his granddaughter Diane Pearson; and also Jimmie. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; adopted son.
