He was predeceased by: his wife Judy Melton; his parents, Carl Melton and Stella Melton; and his siblings, James, Charles, Harold and Martie.
He is survived by: his daughter Shannon Melton; his grandchildren, Kyle Bramlett (Ashley), Elysia Edwards (Josh), Taylor Bramlett (Brittany) and Andrew Bramlett; his close friend Cliff "Peewee" Roberts (Nancy); and his sisters-in-law, Rose Melton and Barbara Eanes. He is also survived by Six Great Grandchildren.
