She was predeceased by: her parents, J. W. Hurst and Louise Hurst; her husband Byron Deuel; and her brother Bill Hurst. She is survived by: her sons, Bruce John Deuel and Brad Deuel (Jan); her grandchildren, Lydia Probst (Noah), Bethany Giles (Clay), Stephen Deuel, Phillip Deuel, Elliot Deuel and Elijah Deuel; her great grandchild Everett Probst; her sister Anita Dillard; her sister-in-law Kim Hurst; and her nieces and nephews, D. J. Dillard, Patrick Hurst, Megan Merritt and Sun.
Johnnie's family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the missionary fund at McCalla Bible Church.
