It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Stanley Stein Jr. (Birmingham, Alabama), born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on December 12, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his spouse Jeanne Edgar Stein; his parents, Hazel Stein and John Stein; his children, John Stein (Kristi) of Birmingham and Julie Ogletree (Chuck) of Fayetteville, Georgia; his grandchildren, Jack Stein, Nathan Stein, Charlie Ogletree and Marie Ogletree; and his sister Anita Stein Carter of Birmingham.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mountain Chapel UMC or Shriners Hospitals for Children.
