He was predeceased by: his parents, Mattie Franklin and John Franklin. He is survived by: his wife Stella Franklin of Birmingham, Alabama; his siblings, Pastor Rodney D. Franklin (Regina) of Village Springs, Alabama and Linda D. Parker (Darryl) of Birmingham, Alabama; his grandchildren, Ashley, Jasmine and Tommie; his sisters-in-law, Faye Farmer (Elder Robert) of Birmingham and Shannon Franklin of Macon, Georgia; and his stepsons, Christopher, Rumoine and Kelvin Parker. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
