He is survived by: his close friends, Johnny and Birmingham; his husband Charles Ellis Russell (Buddy); his siblings, Joyce Ellis Wadsworth, Don Ellis (Jackie), Jane Ellis Hester (David) and James Ellis (Sherry); his great-niece Emily; his great-nephew Tom; his grandfather-in-law Mary Tortorice; his father-in-law Chuck Thomas (Arleen); his siblings-in-law, Laura Russell Morgan (Steven), Daniel R. Russell (Connie) and Christy Thomas Batson (Jeff); and his cousins, Carol Dawson and Jenine Bastas (John). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
