He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Nicolas Arciniegas and Lucia Alvarez Arciniegas; his wife Beatriz Eugenia Arciniegas; his children, Ann Marie Arciniegas Bernal (Juan Mario Bernal), Daniel Eduardo, Andres Augustus and Nicholas; his grandchildren, Joaquin Alberto, Mia Juliana, Mario Santiago and Madeline Azucena; and his siblings, Dr. Eduardo Arciniegas, Lucia DeVivero and Sor Julia Arciniegas. He was also cherished by his spouse, children, and grandchildren.

“Dr. Arci was my husband's cardioligist for over 15 years. He was the best! About 6 1/2 years ago our daughter had leukemia and we told him about her. He said he would pray for her. From that day until the last time we saw him, he always asked about Kate. I am convinced that my husband lived better and longer because Dr. Arci took such good care of him. I have wanted to write him a note to tell him how very much we appreciated him. You had so much to be Proud of. RIP my friend! Elizabeth Messer”
