He was predeceased by: his parents, Theo Collins and Zertha Collins; and his siblings, Leila Parsons and Ronald Collins. He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Hartley Collins; his daughter Carla Collins Carter; his grandson Timothy L. Carter; and his sisters, Mickey Howe (Dennis) and Pamela Hickman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
