She is survived by: her children, Dwight Glenn Houser of Birmingham and Debbie Lynn Hamby (Ken) of Opelika, AL; her grandchildren, Aaron Nicholas Houser, Casie Brooke Houser, Alexis Reed Houser of Birmingham, Kelsey Glenn Hamby (Brandie) of Jacksonville, FL and Taylor Blue Hamby (Yi) of Chapel Hill, NC; her great grandchild Noah Hayes Hamby; and her sister Elizabeth Suderno (Bill). She is also survived by Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins.

“I am heartbroken by the loss of Mrs Houser. She and I had such good times these last few years. We shopped, went out to eat and I got to go with her to meet Mary Joyce and Elizabeth in Scotsboro and Stephenson. She to me lots of stories about growing up in the "country". I really hoped we could continue doing this for more years. I will miss her terribly. If I had questions about anything cooking, what to wear how to fix something, she knew. She was all about her family. She loved each of them.”
