She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charlie and Mary Davis Smith, Sr.; her husband Willie Pace, Sr.; her sons, Willie Pace, Jr. and Lellwyn Pace; and her siblings, Charlie Smith, Jr., Roderick Smith and Mamie Ruffin. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
