He was predeceased by: his parents, J. L. McGlaughn and Peggy McGlaughn. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Beth" Golson McGlaughn; his daughter Megan "Min" Carol McGlaughn; his brother Michael McGlaughn (Amy); and his nephews, Will and Russ. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
