He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Candis Mapson; his children, Sherry Hatcher, Angela Barlow (Jason), Corliss Wingate (Richard) and James Mapson (Audra); and his father Omie Crockett, Sr.. He was also cherished by five brothers, four sisters, five sister-in-laws, a brother-in-law, nine grandchildren, and seven great - grandchildren.
