He was predeceased by: his parents, James McCoy Richey and Thelma Williams Richey. He is survived by: his wife Linda Johnston Richey; his son Mason Lee Richey (Eva John); his grandchildren, Sasha John Richey and Cleo John Richey; and his brothers, Thomas Arthur Richey of Guntersville, AL and Benjamin Horace Richey. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, in-laws, and cousins.
