James Howard Whitman Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 31, 2021, at the age of 83, James Howard Whitman of Birmingham, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Janie Sue Whitman; his parents, Floyd H. Whitman and Opal Whitman; and his sisters, Barbara Ann Glenn and Billie Ruth Childress.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Morgan W. Lacey, Mallory E. Savage of Atlanta, GA, Dallas Whitman, Karsyn Whitman of Atlanta, GA, Bentley Bowers, Bailey Bowers and Brody Bowers of Hoover, AL; and his great grandchildren, Gunner Jack Whitman, James William Savage and Jack Whitman Savage of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews along with other relatives.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Scottish Rite Hospital or the Shriner's Hospital Children's Fund, or Huffman United Methodist Church Loyalty Sunday School Class.
