He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Cecil, Tina Douglas, Harry and Rose Hamilton; his parents, Burney Douglas and Ann Douglas; and his siblings, Ronald U. Douglas and Rose Ann Douglas McClure.
He is survived by: his sister Leslie Jean Douglas Thompson (Ronald); his siblings-in-law, Gladys Douglas and Ken McClure; and his nephews, Richard Jacks, David Hunter, Jr., Alan Taylor and Calvin Coleman. He is also survived by six nieces, three great nephews, one great niece, friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Andrews Episcopal Church or The Episcopal Diocese of Alabama.
