He was predeceased by: his parents, Christie Summers and Janet Summers; and his brothers, Christie W. Summers III and Daniel Thorpe Summers. He is survived by: his wife Anne White Summers; his children, Suzan Summers Brandt (John) and Jimmy Summers (Melissa); and his grandchildren, Virginia Kate Brandt, Jack Brandt, Lucy Summers and Helen Grace Summers.
