With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James E Vann (Birmingham, Alabama), who passed away on October 25, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Aver Vann and Elizabeth Vann. He is survived by: his wife Robyn Roberson Vann; his children, James Edward Vann, Jr. (Jase) of Birmingham and Natalie Vann Walker (John) of Birmingham; his grandchildren, Caleb Nathaniel Vann of Birmingham, Stephen Joshua Vann of Birmingham, Leah Grace Vann of Birmingham, Wyatt James Walker of Birmingham and Lydia Ruth Walker of Birmingham; and his siblings, Averil Smith (Eric) of Tallahassee and Robert Vann (Peggy) of Gulf Shores. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, friends, neighbors.
