He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Butts and Mildred Butts of Cullman; and his in-laws, Joe and Jane Burkett of Townley. He is survived by: his wife Linda Jo Burkett Butts; his sons, Kyle Butts (Nicole) and Ryan Butts (Destiny) of Birmingham; his grandchildren, Molly, Luke Butts, Burkley and Foster Butts; his siblings-in-law, David and Brenda Edgil of Townley; his nieces, Kasey Maddox (Jeff) and Kayla Goetz (Chris); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Paisleanne, Breely Jane Maddox, Rohan and Walter Goetz of Jasper.
