He was predeceased by: his wife Ann Brittain; and his grandsons, Marcus Corn and Zachary Brittain. He is survived by: his children, Carla Corn (Larry), Alan Brittain (Suzan) and Timothy Brittain (Kim); his grandchildren, Faith Carr (David), Hunter Corn, Shea Brittain, Jake Brittain, Christopher Brittain (Alexis), Kenneth Westerfield, Pam Haldi (Danny) and Bethany Westerfield; and his brother Radford Brittain. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.

He was also the founder of the Barnabas Foundation.
