She is survived by: her son Chris Lafakis (Despina); her grandson Zachary; her daughter Argie Maria Borders (Charles); her granddaughter Mary Irini; her sister Despina Vodantis; her sister-in-law Sophia Lafakis Petrou; and her mother-in-law Roula Lafakis. She is also survived by nephews, godchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered to the Pete and Irene Lafakis Athletic Scholarship Fund at the Cathedral.
