It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Marshall Pickett in Birmingham, Alabama, born in Haynesville, Louisiana, who passed away on February 10, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nettie Pickett and Robert Pickett; and his siblings, Marie White, Daphne Martin and Leroy Pickett.

He is survived by: his sister Betty Ramey; his children, Howard M. Pickett Jr. (Sonny) and Charlene Mullins (Scott); his grandchildren, Ian Mullins (Rachel), Natalie Pickett (Ben), Sarah Mullins Mabry (Jacob), Isabel Pickett Carter (Austin) and Jon Marshall Pickett; and his great grandchildren, Christian Mullins and Vander Mabry. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation to the American Stroke Association.
