He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Collier, Sr. and Tommie Mae Collier; his son Horace Collier, Jr.; and his siblings, Ella Doris Collier, Linda Holmes (Lawrence), Malvenia Collier Ross (Willie) and Leon Collier, Jr..

He is survived by: his sons, Ha'san Collier and Harlen Collier; his stepdaughter LaVell Robinson; his fiancée Vera Snow; and his sister Mary Wilson Collier (Mickey). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
