She is survived by: her children, George Jr. (Jacquelyn), Harold, Cecil (Olivia) and Minnie (Richard Finley); and her daughter-in-law Vicki Washington. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mark's Episcopal Church (228 Dennison Ave SW, Birmingham, AL 35211). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Elmwood Cemetery.
