It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen G. Varner (Birmingham, Alabama), who passed away on October 5, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert Patterson, Sr. and A. Patterson; her siblings, Willie Mae Maye, Robert Patterson, Jr. and Richard Patterson; her children, Roderick D. Varner and Juanakee Calhoun (Peter, III) of Ashton; her brother Henry Patterson (Burnice); and her grandchildren, Peter, IV Calhoun (Danielle) and Alexia Calhoun. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
